I’m thoroughly impressed with the concept plus size bloggers Sarah, Bella and Marie Denee have come up with. They ask the question- Why do skinny girls get high end designer collection Zac Posen exclusively at Target… while nothing appears for us?

I do understand that it would be difficult to initially set up as these designers would need to hire whole different groups of buyers and designers.  The buyers and designers would need to be experienced with the technical artistry of the different body shapes of plus size women.  Other big name designers have done it; I encourage more to do so.

It’s about time we, the plus sized community, stepped up to the big bad national chain and demanded they take notice.  We have dollars to spend, with coupon codes of course, and we’re not afraid to spend as long as the options are available!

So who would I choose?

I would love to see some luxury for less at Target, therefore, my pick for designer would be Alberta Ferretti.  Her spring line is natural, with soft colors, like stepping out of the pages of a fairy tale.  Very feminine and romantic!  I wouldn’t mind seeing Alexander Wang at Target either.. a girl can dream.

Target should definitely focus in on the plus size community, otherwise , well we won’t have a need to shop there.
