When I was 10, I accidentally gave this boy in my class a “Be My Valentine?” card. You know, the little cardboard cutout type with 28 to a box and they cycle through the same 5 sayings? Apparently this lone card snuck its way into the pile. In 5th grade fashion, his peers let out embarassing ‘ooous’ and ‘ahhhs.’ I sunk 10 years back, wishing to disappear all together.

…And that’s when I stopped recognizing Valentine’s Day. ;]

Slip Into a Summer Sleep Gown!

Flannel! I love the feeling of jumping into an oh, so soft flannel pj suit after a freezing cold day! Feeling like you just snuck inside of a big cuddly bear, as the flannel fibers tickle your senses.

My nostalgia for hibernation season jammies has been driving me on a mad hunt to find summer sleepwear that I can love just as much!

It’s sizzling hotter by the day, and if you only have a swamp cooler in your house, like me….a no clothing policy usually comes into play around slumber time. Truth be told though, your body actually maintains a lower temperature while wearing one lite layer of clothing.

This is where I finally decided to ditch the nudey suit, and bring on the plus size sleep gowns!

And for those lucky gals with a fancy AC….all the more reason to feel sexy in a new gown or chemise as you sleep in your perfectly cool house, where your sheets and your nighty and your hair will not be sticking to you all night.
