Favorite Plus Size Fashion Trends for Fall 2011!
24 Aug 2011I woke up this morning to the feel of sweat sliding over my temples. I looked up at the ceiling, and then around to my window draperies. Nothing in my bedroom was swaying in its usual beat from the air. Apparently, the swamp cooler had taken the day off. So basically, I woke up to the death of Summer.
After a few hours spent sweating over a broken pump, I finally stumbled to find a seat on the roof top. For the first time this Summer, I begged for Autumn to just get here already. It’s funny how your feelings can change, once your comforts are taken away. Like cool air.
Looks as though my wish is going to take a bit to come true. Even so, plus-size fall fashion trends are already very much present. I’m hoping that if I start shopping now…it’ll seal that wish with a kiss. ;]
Slouchy plus-size jackets and blazers are definitely one of my favorite trends for this Fall. To me, a woman that can pull off an androgynous look, says she’s classy and kind of bold. So with a stealthy sneak into my brother’s closet, I yanked this charcoal gray suit jacket to allow my own masculinity out for a stroll.
This look also suits my next favorite plus-size trend for the Fall season: minimalism! Life and fashion are going back to black…and white. Timeless neutrals paired to contrast and compliment each other. Fall 2011 is introducing simplistic pieces made of good quality. Think about snagging a few staple items for your wardrobe. Things you can mix, match, and cycle through in a still wavering economy.

Personally, I’d sway around in black all year long. Well…if it weren’t for animal prints, that is.
For Fall 2011 plus-size trends, I’m seeing a lot of these fierce prints popping up in the fashion world.
I love being able to easily go from one event to the next without having to completely change looks. Some days just don’t leave us with enough time to play chameleon. Instead, try switching up your outfit with one small, swift change. When the work day is done, ditch the business jacket. Go more casual with an animal print cardigan, or a smooth leopard print scarf to add some spice without over dressing.
As studs are jumping up in the Fall trend ranks, so are neon colors! Two things that can suprisingly become a good match…
